Great place to take care of your cravings for Puertorrican food. Mondays thru Fridays they have their special of the day pretty much already made and in warming trays waiting for you to point them out as you go through. Don't forget to ask for one of their fruit drinks. I personally like their Passion Fruit drink.

The food here is good and not that expensive. You can get a whole fish fried fresh. It's not sitting there under the warmer. It's fried right there when you order it. Yeah it takes a while but it's worth the wait. They have other things that are so yummy. 😊🙂

Texas size portions with an excellent selection of entrees.

Very good restaurant, plenty of parking, good food and friendly employees. You can be served cafeteria style or get a menu and sit down. Certainly not a formal place. They serve puertorrican food, very flavorful without being spicy hot. A nice change of pace every now and then.

My favorite it's mofongo an any soup made. the flavor you don't only taste the freshness of the food but the most important you can taste the love and dedication of every recipe. Best place in town for (Chillo) or fried Red Snapper. I can go there every day and not regret at all. Everything has the unique flavor of the dish

First time trying Puerto Rican food, it was really good! I had the chicken stew and the meat was tender. Their calamari rice is good too.Second time going there wasn't busy or anything and the girl behind the counter was extremely rude, huffing and puffing at me, throwing things around, and not caring about me. And checking out she got on the phone instead, I had to punch in my own charge and cut the reciept and give her the right one.I'm extremely disappointed, and on top of that she told me they don't give a military discount, but my first time there they gave it to me.

The food here is really good. They're quite busy but the cafeteria style layout moves people through fast and there are only inside tables. I would have like for them to bus the tables a bit faster but the majority of the restaurant was clean. We came for lunch and was in and out in less than 30 minutes. I heard the do close early so this definitely not a dinner spot.

Best flavor outside the house

First time I visited this restaurant it was ummm...ok...nothing to brag about. Today, I actually went around their closing time...BIG mistake! Fried pork was tough, and pork chops were dry even though it was in tomato sauce. But, my hugest concern is the prices. I feel the prices should be listed, I which it's not. I am praying that they threw that left over food away! The environment is super friendly and they do clean. So, maybe one day I'll try them again...one day...

Food: Good Puerto Rican food. “Á la carte” or the daily specials at the “steam table”. Tasty food. Price: Priece is fair taking in consideration the food quality and ingredients used. A lot of them are not locally available. Service: Servers were really friendly and helpful. Overall experience was a 5 stars.

Best food in town

The food is great, the place is very ckean. The waitress is very friendly. Nice place to relax. Their is also spanish music while you eat. You have to wait a little long for the food bc they make it from scratch.

Food is really good. The arroz con gandules is consistently good. Wish their hours weren't limited. They seem to close early if they run out of food. Hard to tell if they'd be open after 2.

(moment of silence please) Well Tex-Rican has became my new spot when I'm in the mood for some home cooked Rican food!!! The taste is so authentic and the customer service is so exceptional! I love the music and the atmosphere. No worries about the price because it's worth every dime, nickel and or quarter!!! Stop in for their slammin chicken stew with rice oh my gosh i'm craving as i write this! Go enjoy!!

place is clean and staff is friendly! great service! I had pernil. It was a bit dry and very fatty. I know the fat is good flavor but in my case there as more fat than meat. every other thing I tasted was good. There flavored water is great!
